- Sign-up sheet can be found here. Please sign-up by Thursday (4/14) so we can begin volunteering by Monday (4/18).
- The Commons at Elk Grove
- Volunteer sessions are Sundays at 4 pm.
- They will be held in-person at their facility in Elk Grove.
- They have confirmed that we now do not need Live Scans to volunteer. To the volunteers who signed up for these sessions, I will send an email to you regarding carpooling as well as when our first shift will be. Our first shift will either be 4/17 or 4/24 depending on your availability since 4/17 is Easter weekend.
Eskaton Communities Live Performance: A BEI Collaboration with UC Davis Music Therapy Club (MTC) (2/26/22):
The students of the UC Davis Brain Exercise Initiative and Music Therapy Club present live music and poetry performances in an effort to serve the elderly population of Northern California. This collaboration was launched and organized by Yasi Parsa (BEI Co-Outreach and MTC President) and coordinated with Eskaton by Thea Miller (MTC Events/Activities).

- They would like to start in-person sessions at their facility
- The sessions would be Sundays at 4 pm.
- The facility is about 35 minutes away, so if we decide to start volunteering, a carpool system would be in place for volunteers.

- Packet Making - for volunteers who are not able to attend the Carlton sessions.
- You will all have access to a Google folder that contains a blank template, resources for writing questions, and examples of what the completed packets should look like. Please refer to the email for a link to the BEI packets folder.
- Volunteers will be responsible for creating 1 packet before our next meeting on Dec. 1.
- You will be responsible for changing the writing, math, and reading section. Please refer to the recording for more information on this. The number corresponding to your name will be the title of your packet. (ex: number 1 will correspond to the title of Packet 1). Please refer to the email sent on 11/14 to view your assigned packet number and level of difficulty.

- Please send the email with the packets AND Zoom links to - [email protected] by SUNDAY. As there will only be volunteering on Mondays and Fridays, send Exercise 1 and Exercise 2.
